    It was a huge pleasure to work at Stampede! This was an amazing celebration of life, joy and festivity! I was really impressed with my first time, though it was 5 years after I moved to Calgary that I finally went to see it. I worked for the Voice of Alberta company as a media photographer. I spent the whole week there and felt extremely excited and impressed. This festival is very well known in Canada! The whole city stops “breathing” for the period of Stampede. Everyone wears cowboy clothes and spends a lot of time exploring the Stampede grounds and events. Here is the website for ordering tickets as well as reading about the celebration history.
